Ilze van Reeuwyk
I qualified as a Speech Therapist at the University of Pretoria in 2010 and am the proud owner of IVR Speech which was opened in June 2019 in Heidelberg, Gauteng. The practice is centrally located and services are rendered in surrounding areas such as Nigel and Germiston. I have always had a passion for people, especially children. There has been a great shift in the education system in recent years with a big focus on inclusivity and assisting each learner to reach their full potential within their current environment. Nothing makes me happier than being a part of that process and seeing the children blossom. For this reason I have partnered up with several schools in the area in order to deliver quality services on site. My aim is to build a meaningful and trusting relationship with each client and family member that cross my path by not only providing them with the required intervention strategies and techniques, but also showering them with love and acceptance to provide a safe space for them to grow in. I am able to assist with a variety of speech, language, auditory processing, reading and writing, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties in both English and Afrikaans for the paediatric and adult populations
